I have struggled with the idea of posting this because I'm a very
private person...but the name of God needs to be glorified and someone
out there needs to be inspired by this testimony....I passed NCLEX RN on
second attempt....I had just migrated to the United States and although
I had passed CGFNS three years ago, I found NCLEX to be very
tough....as I stepped out of the test centre, I felt like a truck had
run over me....I felt devastated as am not used to failing any exam
s....I
took courage and with encouragement and support from my wife I turned
to God for guidance..I took a job as a CNA, subscribed to happy NCLEX,
Uworld & NCSBN (5weeks)...I grabbed saunders Q&review, completed
saunders, ready set review, Kaplan strategies, practice and reviews,
complete study kit for Remar, mark K(1-12)...I got flashcards and pasted
tricky notes on my study room wall. It's easier for God to help you
when you make a lot of effort.... On the D day I verbalised 2 Tim 1:7
and I kept telling myself: " For God had not given me the spirit of fear
and I will face those questions with the power of God, love for my
patients and a sound mind to make good clinical decisions....my wife
kept interceding for me as well....

I could tell I wasn't alone this
time, I called on Him each time I met very hard questions...All the
calculations I practiced on Uworld appeared in similar forms. Taking
notes from uworld is painful but rewarding...God saw me through... when
you feel fatigued, take a break. It helps. In your SATAs, select only
options you are sure of. Rest before the test... good luck to
everyone...BNSc, CGFNS,CNA, USRN.....
